Racing One has confirmed it will make its 24H SERIES powered by Hankook return at the 2024 Hankook 24H DUBAI, doing so with its new Ferrari 296 GT3 and a new brand partnership.

The German team most recently competed with CREVENTIC at the Hankook 12H MUGELLO in 2021, impressing with a controlled drive to 8th overall with its 2019-spec Ferrari 488 GT3. In March of this year, Racing One has contested the International GT Open with its new Ferrari 296 GT3, and is set to make its only its second 24-hour race start with the Scuderia’s new GT3 flagship after competing at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours. The Hankook 24H DUBAI will also mark Racing One’s first 24-hour race event with CREVENTIC.

While the evocative red that has adorned the Ferrari since its arrival remains mostly intact, much of the new livery has been given over to the team’s new partner, Carrera. The team’s existing partnership with Hella Pagid is also represented on the rear panel.

Following their Mugello run, Racing One has not yet confirmed whether Daniele Di Amato, Francesco Lopez, Axel Sartingen and Daniel Schwerfeld will return for the Hankook 24H DUBAI, stating only that details of their driver line-up will arrive “in the upcoming weeks.”

Following Tuesday’s announcement from Team WRT, Racing One becomes the 32nd GT3 entry registered for the 2024 Hankook 24H DUBAI, a provisional entry list that already includes former outright winners Car Collection Motorsport, Land Motorsport and Herberth Motorsport, 2017 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion Hofor-Racing, 2019 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Continents’ champion Leipert Motorsport, 2021 Overall GT Teams’ champion ST Racing, 24H SERIES staple CP Racing, and series debutant Getspeed. Racing One is also the second team set to represent the prancing horse on the grid in Dubai, with five-time event class winner Dragon Racing having confirmed two 296 GT3s of its own.
