Automotive tool specialist joins CREVENTIC for the 2020 season.

CREVENTIC is pleased to announce that Sonic Equipment, specialists in automotive repair tools and trolley systems, will step aboard as a new partner for the 2020 24H SERIES powered by Hankook.

Sonic Equipment, based in The Netherlands and represented in 62 different countries worldwide, will provide access for competitors to its range of automotive repair tools and trolley systems during a race weekend, as well as opportunities for storage. On top of that, Sonic will continue to play a vital role in the maintenance of the 24H SERIES’ bespoke re-fuelling station, a compound used during every official session during a CREVENTIC race weekend to ensure the safety of its competitors.

The partnership with Sonic Equipment has been in effect since the season-opening Hankook 24H DUBAI in early January. The partnership will encompass both the 24H SERIES Europe and internationally focused 24H SERIES Continents schedules for the remainder of the season.

“CREVENTIC is very proud to have signed this deal with Sonic Equipment, and we are delighted to have won a premium partner for our teams with such huge experience in tools, equipment and storage materials,” explained CREVENTIC’s Ole Dörlemann. “All of our teams will benefit from a special discount on any orders with Sonic, and we’re looking forward to a fruitful season in 2020.”

The second round of this year’s 24H SERIES takes place at the vaunted Autodromo Nazionale Monza on 27-28 March, with six further endurance weekends scheduled after that. On 1-2 May, CREVENTIC, together with Sonic Equipment, travels to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for a ‘double header’, a weekend that includes the Hankook 12H SPA and the second-ever TCR SPA 500. This is swiftly followed by the Hankook 24H PORTIMAO at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal on 12-13-14 June and the inaugural Hankook 9H CIRCUIT PAUL RICARD in France on 9 July.

After the series’ customary summer break, endurance action continues at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain with the Hankook 24H BARCELONA on 4-5-6 September. For the first time, the last European race of the year takes place at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari on 9-10 October with the Hankook 12H IMOLA. Finally, as it has done for the last three years, the 24H SERIES season draws to a close at the annual Hankook 24H COTA USA at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, on 13-14-15 November.

Alongside its distribution network, Sonic Equipment also boasts its own in-house research and development program, its aim being “to achieve the best quality, functions and performance for its products, so to best serve its global customers.” Significantly, among those global customers is the Volkswagen Audi Group, with whom Sonic Equipment has cooperated for some time.
