Creventic is delighted to reveal the provisional 2027 calendar for the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series, featuring five endurance events at five of Europe’s most celebrated Grand Prix circuits.

The championship will visit Italy, Belgium, Austria, France and Spain between March and September, with four 12-hour races taking place between March and June before the summer break. The European season will then conclude with the traditional Michelin 24H BARCELONA at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Continuity at Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Circuit Paul Ricard and Barcelona is complemented by the return to the Red Bull Ring. The Austrian venue last hosted the 24H SERIES in 2017 and will rejoin the calendar exactly a decade later, bringing its fast, compact and highly demanding layout back to 24H SERIES.

The compact five-round format will offer teams 72 hours of racing across five race weekends. Creventic expects full-season entries to grow again in 2027, with the calendar designed to combine substantial track time with a manageable programme for teams contesting the complete European Series.

Each European event will also be preceded by two CR Track Days, giving teams the opportunity to add extra track time ahead of the race weekend. With open pitlane running, teams can use the track days for testing, car set-up and driver preparation before the official event gets underway.

The 2027 season will begin with the Michelin 12H MUGELLO on 19–21 March. 

A regular fixture on the 24H SERIES calendar since its first appearance in 2014, Mugello has become a familiar season opener and a firm favourite among teams and drivers.

Nestled among the Tuscan hills, the 5.2-kilometre circuit combines a spectacular setting with a fast and flowing layout.

Spa-Francorchamps follows in April

Just three weeks later, the Michelin 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS will take place on 9–11 April. Few circuits carry greater prestige than the legendary Belgian venue, where rapidly changing weather, major elevation changes and celebrated corners such as Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Pouhon and Blanchimont create a unique endurance-racing challenge.

Red Bull Ring returns after ten years

The biggest change for 2027 comes on 14–16 May, when the Michelin 12H RED BULL RING brings the 24H SERIES back to Austria for the first time in a decade.

Creventic’s only previous 12-hour race at the Red Bull Ring took place in 2017 and was won by Herberth Motorsport with its Porsche 911 GT3 R. Ten years later, the championship will return to the Styrian mountains for another 12-hour contest at the 4.3-kilometre circuit.

With its short lap, elevation changes and mix of heavy braking zones and high-speed sections, the Red Bull Ring will provide a new challenge for the 24H SERIES field in 2027.

Paul Ricard takes the series into the summer break

The Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD follows on 4–6 June. Located near Marseille in southern France, Circuit Paul Ricard has become another familiar stop on the European calendar.

Its long Mistral Straight, technical sections and wide layout have regularly produced varied strategies and close multi-class racing. As the fourth round of the season, Paul Ricard will be the final race before the summer interval.

Barcelona remains the ultimate test

The European season will conclude on 10–12 September with the Michelin 24H BARCELONA. The only twice-around-the-clock race will once again provide the longest and most demanding challenge of the European season.

First held in 1998, the event has a history that predates the Michelin 24H SERIES itself and is scheduled to celebrate its 28th edition in 2027. The 24-hour race combines daytime heat, night running, changing track conditions and relentless multi-class traffic.
