Gennep, Netherlands (20 June 2025):
Circuit Paul Ricard near Marseille will welcome the resumption of the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series just a fortnight from now, where a grid of almost 40 cars is already confirmed for the hotly anticipated penultimate race of the 2025 season.

Taking place on Saturday, 5 July, the Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD will be the first visit by Creventic’s championship to the immensely popular southern French venue since 2021, and going into round four of the campaign things couldn’t be tighter at the top of the overall GT3 standings.

Scuderia Praha’s No.56 Ferrari 296 GT3 leads the outright championship by just two points from Juta Racing’s No.71 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II which, in turn, is only a further two points ahead of HOFOR Racing’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO. Praha also lead the GT3 PRO-AM battle by four points from Proton Huber Competition’s Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), while Juta tops GT3-AM ahead of HOFOR.

All four of those squads are confirmed for Paul Ricard as part of an outstanding GT3 entry which features 19 cars thus far. Winners last time out in the Michelin 12H MISANO in Italy, HAAS RT, will be aiming to continue their momentum with the team’s No.21 Audi R8 but will face major competition.

Fellow Audi R8 squad Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport will be on the grid, Juta will also field a second Audi R8 and French team Sainteloc Racing makes a welcome appearance with an Audi R8 for its home event.

Era Motorsport’s Ferrari 296 GT3 will be joined by two more Ferrari entries from UAE team Dragon Racing and E2P Racing adds more flavour with its Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Herberth Motorsport will challenge with its Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) and the RD Signs – Siauliai Racing Team has entered with a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO.

Another French team, TFT Racing, is confirmed as running a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO on home ground and further Mercedes entries come from Viper Niza Racing and Misano outright podium finishers Red Ant Racing. All the way from New Zealand, meanwhile, is the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 of Prime Speed Sport.

As with GT3, the battle at the head of the 992 class is fierce every single weekend although RPM Racing managed to open a lead of 12 points with its No.907 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) in Misano, a second place finish while erstwhile class leaders Red Camel-Jordans.nl experienced misfortune.

Added to the aforementioned two entries is another tremendous cast for the penultimate race of the season at Paul Ricard. SebLajoux Racing, third in the overall 992 standings, is confirmed along with Ajith Kumar Racing by Red Ant, Holmgaard Motorsport, 9und11 Racing, HRT Performance and Lionspeed GP. Muhlner Motorsport, meanwhile, is set to field two Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars.

Venture, who have dominated GT4 this season – taking two victories thus far – will be aiming for win number three of 2025 in France with its Mercedes-AMG GT4. Competition comes from Hamofa Motorsport’s BMW M4 GT4 EVO (G82).

In GTX, Vortex V8 brings an expanded three-car entry to its home race with a trio of Vortex 2.0 cars. Its No.701 car leads the class standings by a very healthy 40 points having finished second in the season-opener at Mugello and then taking back-to-back wins at Spa-Francorchamps and Misano.

Taking on Vortex will be Graff Racing, its eye-catching Nova NP02 making its maiden appearance in the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series, and the returning 111 Racing squad from Australia with its IRC GT car which missed the last round in Italy.

Circuit Paul Ricard’s action a couple of weeks from now will begin with a pair of Creventic Track Day sessions on Thursday, 3 July, with testing and free practice following on Friday, 4 July, ahead of qualifying which begins at 15.30 local time. The Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD itself will get underway at 10.00 local time on Saturday, 5 July.
