GENNEP (06 July, 2024) – More than 60 cars, celebrating close to a dozen different manufacturers and 15 nationalities, have already been registered for the 20th edition of the Michelin 24H DUBAI, scheduled to take place at the Dubai Autodrome on 10-11-12 January.

An impressive provisional entry list for the Michelin 24H DUBAI, to be held for the 20th consecutive year since the inaugural edition in 2006, already boasts 40 teams and 61 cars from across Europe and even as far afield as Antigua and Japan to compete. Interest from teams, both new and known to the 24H SERIES, is also a cause for celebration as CREVENTIC approaches a new era with 2025 tyre supplier Michelin.

Peter Freij, CREVENTIC operational manager: “We’re extremely proud that our most celebrated event – the 24H DUBAI – will be held for the 20th time in January, and to see the number of teams that have already put their names down for this historic edition shows just how significant the event has become over the last two decades. With plenty of time left to register, we’re confident this entry list will continue growing from strength-to-strength over the coming months, and we’re very much looking forward to starting a brand-new partnership with Michelin on a high note.”

GT3

·      Two former outright winners – Herberth Motorsport (2017) and Car Collection Motorsport (2019) – confirm entries.

·      Could five-time class winner Dragon Racing take the first overall win for Ferrari?

·      Century Motorsport looking to replicate double 2024 podium with dual BMW M4 GT3s.

2017 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Continents’ champion Herberth Motorsport (#91), outright winner of the event in 2017, has confirmed its Porsche 992 GT3 R. The Bavarian team, also the overall runner-up in 2023 and the event’s polesitter in 2021, will no doubt hope to secure its second win at CREVENTIC’s biggest race of the year in January.

Fellow former winner Car Collection Motorsport (#80), which took overall honours at the event in 2019, has similarly confirmed a Porsche 992 GT3 R for the 2025 edition. Tellingly, the German team, also a former runner-up in 2020, took outright victory at this year’s Hankook 6H ABU DHABI with the Porsche.

Team GP-Elite (#32) and Proton Huber Competition (#82 and #83) will also represent Porsche in Dubai. The Dutch team took its first outright series win earlier this year in Mugello, and, fittingly, took a decisive 1-2 in 992-PRO on its event debut in 2022. Proton Competition meanwhile, which continues its jaunt venture with Huber Racing into 2025, finished last year’s 24H DUBAI 2nd overall.

Five-time Hankook 24H DUBAI class winner Dragon Racing is set to make a second start at its home event with Ferrari’s 296 GT3. A strong race could see the Dubai Autodrome-based outfit, which has entered two examples of the Scuderia’s GT3 flagship (#8 and #88), become the UAE’s first outright winner of the 24H DUBAI since 2021.

Mercedes-AMG meanwhile, a five-time winner of the 24H DUBAI, will be represented by four teams in the GT3 class. 2017 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion Hofor-Racing (#11), which continues its full European campaign with CREVENTIC this weekend at Misano, makes its return to the Dubai Autodrome for the first time since 2019 with its AMG GT3. MP Motorsport (#19) – like Hofor-Racing, a two-time A6/GT3 class winner in Dubai – has also entered a Mercedes-AMG GT3 for its sixth start at the event.

PTT Racing (#74) and Team Motopark (#45) have both registered ‘EVO’ versions of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. The former, which has also registered a 992 entry for the race (#944), makes its 24H SERIES debut this weekend in a collaborative effort with Schnitzelalm Racing, while Germany’s Motopark is set to make its debut with CREVENTIC at the Dubai Autodrome.

Reigning overall GT3 Teams’ champion Haas RT (#21) has confirmed the only Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II in the field for its third run at the 24H DUBAI in 2025. In its first-ever race start at the event in 2023, the Antiguan team finished a strong 5th overall and even led the field outright, despite lining up 43rd on the grid!

Century Motorsport secured a long-awaited second (and third!) class win at the 24H DUBAI earlier this year, emerging victorious in both the GT3-PRO/AM and GT3-AM classes on the 24-hour racing debut for its new BMW M4 GT3s. The British team will once again enter a two-car line-up (#14 and #22) to try and replicate its stellar 2024.

Simpson Motorsport (#38), the TCE winner of the 2023/2024 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy and last year’s TCR class winner, has also registered a BMW M4 GT3 for its first shot at the event in CREVENTIC’s GT3 top tier.

British compatriot Optimum Motorsport is set to make its event return in 2025, 10 years on from its first category win. The British team has registered two McLaren 720S GT3s (#23 and #24) for 10-11-12 January, an example of which Optimum ran in collaboration with Inception Racing in 2021.

Race Lab (#13) is set to make its first 24H DUBAI start and will also represent Woking, having registered a 720S GT3 EVO. The British outfit made its 24H SERIES debut this year in Abu Dhabi, and impressed with a maiden GT3-PRO/AM podium.

Aston Martin’s new ‘EVO’ version of its Vantage AMR GT3 makes its 24H SERIES debut this weekend in Misano. Fittingly, two examples of the British sports car have also been entered for the Michelin 24H DUBAI in January courtesy of new Aston Martin customer Comtoyou Racing (#40 and #41). The Belgian team, a three-time TCR Europe Teams’ champion, last competed with CREVENTIC at the 2020 Hankook 24H PORTIMAO, one year after securing a podium at the inaugural TCR SPA 500.

After a two-year absence, ARC Bratislava (#44) is set to make its 24H DUBAI return in January. The Slovakian team, which competed at the inaugural event as ‘AC Bratislava,’ has registered a Lamborghini Huracán GT3, as has long-time ‘GTX’ rival – and a front row starter at this year’s 24H DUBAI – Leipert Motorsport (#63). ARC Bratislava, hoping to secure a maiden podium at the race, will run Lamborghini’s ‘EVO’ version, while 2019 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Continents’ champion Leipert has entered its tenured Huracán GT3.

Barwell Motorsport meanwhile (#77) has entered an ‘EVO2’ Lamborghini Huracán GT3 for its fourth attempt at the 24H DUBAI. The British team, winner outright of the Hankook 24H BARCELONA in 2019, ran comfortably in the top 10 on its most recent outing in 2022, and could be a potential dark horse on 10-11-12 January.

992

·      Potentially the strongest 992 field yet for the 2025 Michelin 24H DUBAI.

·      Red Ant Racing looking to break 24H DUBAI duck.

·      Can former outright series champion Sorg Rennsport take a fourth class win in a fourth different category?

With 24 entries already registered, the 2025 Michelin 24H DUBAI could feature one of its strongest 992-class fields to-date.

Current 992 Teams’ standings leader Red Ant Racing is gearing up for its fourth run at the 24H DUBAI. Since its event debut in 2021, the Belgian team, which will enter its traditional two-car line-up (#903 and #904), has taken two class podiums, though the 2022 992 Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion is still looking for its first category win in Dubai.

Red Ant Racing is one of six teams entering multiple cars for the 992 class. Series staple HRT Performance, which debuted at the 24H DUBAI in 2012 and took a first well-deserved 992-AM victory in 2022, has registered three entries for Dubai: two of them are standalone entries (#928 and #929), while the third continues the German’s affiliation with the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (#931), class winner in 2024.

Fellow event mainstay MRS GT-Racing will enter two cars for CREVENTIC’s 2025 season opener (#987 and #988). A two-time class winner at the 24H DUBAI, the German team will be hoping to secure its hattrick on 10-11-12 January.

Just under six months removed from its maiden international endurance racing program in the 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy, KKrämer Racing doubles up for its second attempt at the Michelin 24H DUBAI with two Porsche 992 GT3 Cups (#936 and #937).

Mühlner Motorsport made a long-awaited return to CREVENTIC competition at this year’s 24H DUBAI, and will be hoping for a return to the 24H SERIES podium with one – if not both! – of its two Porsche 992 GT3 Cups (#921 and #923).

Alongside its GTX entry (more on that in a second), last year’s GTX winner of the 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy – Toro Verde GT (#995 and #996) – has also entered two Porsche 992 GT3 Cups for its first run in the 24H SERIES’ 992 category.

JBR rounds out the multi-car entries in 992 (#989 and #990) as the Japanese team is set to make its 24H SERIES debut in Dubai with two Porsches.

2020 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Continents’ champion Team Sorg Rennsport (#927) continues its 992 campaign in Dubai following its switch to a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup for 2024. Interestingly, a strong run for the German team could produce its fourth class win at the 24H DUBAI in a fourth different category!

Like Sorg Rennsport, reigning TCR Teams’ champion Holmgaard Motorsport (#902) also made the jump to the 992 class for 2024, and returns for a second shot at the Michelin 24H DUBAI with its new Porsche 992 GT3 Cup.

Series debutants Eden Race Drives (#916), Hans Weijs Motorsport (#972), and Smyrlis Racing (#964) complete the 992 entries thus far. The former currently leads the Porsche Carrera Cup GB PRO standings in its first season in the one-make championship, while Hans Weijs, founded by its two-time Dutch rallysprint champion namesake, will prepare for its first 24H SERIES outing with a run in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup by Porsche Motorsport later this year on 6-7 September.

Smyrlis Racing meanwhile, a champion in the DMV BMW 318ti Cup as well as a class winner of the Nürburgring 24 Hours, is set to start its first Michelin 24H DUBAI. An event at which team patriarch Ionnis Smyrlis took class victory in 2018.

GTX and GT4

·      Two Middle East Trophy winners confirm GTX entries for 2025 Michelin 24H DUBAI.

·      24H SERIES returnee Forch Racing set for event debut with multi-class entry.

·      Audi’s R8 LMS GT4 is back for only the third time at the 24H DUBAI.

Notably, of the five GT4 entries registered thus far for the 20th edition of the 24H DUBAI, each will represent a different manufacturer. Similarly, the five-car field confirmed so far in GTX will feature four different marques!

2021 GTX Teams’ champion Vortex V8 has registered two examples of its bespoke Vortex ‘2.0’ for 10-11-12 January. The French independent, a 24H SERIES staple since 2007 as ‘Vortex,’ ‘Solution F’ and ‘Gomez Competition,’ has finished on the event’s GTX podium four years in succession, but is still looking to replicate its 2019 class win.

On top of its GT3 entry, Leipert Motorsport (#710) has also entered its Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo, an example with which the German team has twice secured SPX/GTX class wins.

Toro Verde GT (#795), GTX winner of the 2023/2024 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy, returns to the 24H DUBAI in 2025. The British team will once again run Ginetta’s new G56 Cup ‘GTX,’ which secured class victory at the 2024 edition.

Triumphant in-class in 2023, Razoon – More Than Racing (#714), also a former GTX winner of the Middle East Trophy, will hope to take a second class win in Dubai with its KTM X-BOW GT2. The Austrian team has also registered a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#914) for what could be its first start in the 992 category with CREVENTIC.

Across in GT4, and alongside its BMW M4 GT3, Simpson Motorsport (#438) has entered a BMW M4 GT4 in the hope of securing a third class win with CREVENTIC in Dubai (its first came at the Hankook 3X3H DUBAI in 2018). British compatriot CWS Engineering (#478), will similarly be eying a second consecutive class win at the event with its established Ginetta G55 GT4. The former SP3 and TCX Teams’ champion took TCX honours last year, emulating its SP3 victory in Dubai in 2018.

Forch Racing (#472) is gearing up for its first 24H SERIES race in six years, as well as its maiden outing at the Michelin 24H DUBAI. The Polish team has entered a Porsche Cayman GT4 CS MR in GT4 in a collaborative effort with ‘Atlas Ward,’ and has also registered a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#972) for the 992 class.

StreetArt Racing (#407) makes its 24H SERIES debut this weekend in Misano in preparation for a maiden entry at the Michelin 24H DUBAI in January. The Belgian team will do both events with Aston Martin’s Vantage AMR GT4.

Series newcomer Sport77 (#447) rounds out the GT4 entries thus far, and will race an Audi R8 LMS GT4, marking only the third time the model has been entered for Dubai’s annual 24-hour motor race.

Entries are still being accepted for the 2025 Michelin 24H DUBAI on 10-11-12 January. Further details can be found at www.24hseries.com/races, and through CREVENTIC directly via [email protected] and/or +31 485 471 166.
