With track-wide refurbishment almost complete at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, tickets sales have now begun for the Hankook 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS on 22-23-24 April

Circuit management, which recently confirmed Mr Amaury Bertholomé as the venue’s new CEO, announced in October 2020 that €80 million was being invested over the coming 10 years to renovate circuit ‘infrastructure’ – including a revamped pit and paddock area – and much of the 7.004km circuit’s run-off areas, as well as modernizing two of the principal grandstands. Construction began in April last year while work reintroducing gravel traps at select points of the circuit got underway last November, with much of the modernization expected to be completed in time for the third championship round of this year’s 24H SERIES powered by Hankook.

Fans can pay €10, to watch track action live on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, or the Sunday 24th April. Alternatively, fans can pay €20 for a weekend ticket, guaranteeing circuit access from 8.30am on the Friday through to 6pm on the Sunday. Fans can also pre-pay for an official event poster and/or a voucher for the 2022 Hankook 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS magazine.

This year’s Hankook 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS marks the fourth time in five years that CREVENTIC has held an official 24H SERIES event at Belgium's most famous race circuit. The inaugural edition in 2017 was a TCE-dedicated event, but featured the competitive debut of the pre-production Mercedes-AMG GT4, and a climactic finish between series staples Red Camel-Jordans.nl and LMS Racing powered by Bas Koeten Racing. A feat repeated one year later at the 2018 edition (at which GT runners were welcomed for the first time) when Bas Koeten Racing was bested to overall TCE victory by CWS Engineering by just 20 seconds.

In 2019, the fight for outright honours at the Hankook 12H SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS once again went down to the wire, with the Bohemia Energy racing with Scuderia Praha Ferrari 488 GT3 re-taking the lead from the Herberth Motorsport Porsche 991 GT3 R inside the final seven minutes of the 12-hour event on the long run up the hill to Les Combes
