Thirty Cars Ready To Begin Battle In Next Weekend's Michelin 12H MUGELLO

Strong driver line-ups confirmed for opening event of 2026 Michelin 24H SERIES European Series

Gennep, Netherlands (13 March 2026):
Driver line-ups for next weekend’s opening round of the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series, the Michelin 12H MUGELLO, are all but complete for the hugely competitive grid of 30 cars which are confirmed for the annual trip to Tuscany. 

 

Reigning European Series Team Champions Proton Competition will field a stellar four driver entry comprising 2025 European Series Drivers’ Champions Manuel Lauck and Jörg Dreisow, joined by the duo of Constantin Dressler and Dennis Marschall in the squad’s Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO.

 

Fellow Porsche team Herberth Motorsport is set to field two cars, the No.269 entry featuring Max Moritz, Vincent Kolb and Robert Renauer. The Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy GT3 PRO-AM Champions have also named Ralf Bohn, Rolf Ineichen and Alfred Renauer in the No.91 car line-up.

 

Outright and GT3 PRO-AM class podium finishers from Mugello last year, Era Motorsport, enter a very familiar and competitive quartet of Dwight Merriman, Oliver Bryant, Ryan Dalziel and Jake Hill in the No.81 Ferrari 296 GT3. 

 

Among the Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II entries, Mugello GT3-AM podium finishers from last season Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport have named Vasily Vladykin thus far while HAAS RT’s entry is presently father and son Peter and Nicolas Guelinckx. The third Audi on the entry, Sainteloc Junior Team, has Pierre Kaffer, Michael Doppelmayr, Elia Erhart, Ernst Inderbitzin and Stephane Tribaudini.

Italy’s very own MP Racing enters its home event, making a welcome return to the Michelin 24H SERIES, with siblings David, Corinna and Manuela Gostner partnered by their father Thomas in the No.58 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

 

The ever-present and competitive HOFOR Racing, another family centred team of course, features husband and wife Alexander and Chantal Prinz teaming-up with Chantal’s father Michael Kroll, Maximilian Partl and Torsten Kratz in its Mercedes-AMG.

 

Viper Niza Racing begins the European Series with familiar trio Douglas Khoo, Melvin Moh and Dominic Ang in the No.65 Mercedes-AMG, while Ajith RedAnt Racing has confirmed world-famous Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, Kobe de Breucker and brothers Ayrton and Yannick Redant.

 

Getspeed will field a twin entry of Mercedes-AMGs, the squad’s No.28 car – running under the Getspeed Team PCX Racing banner – is to be shared by the quartet of Maro Engel, Benjamin Paque, Jordan Boisson and Patrick Charlaix. In the sister car, running as Getspeed Team JR286, Patrick Liddy, Jonathan Hirshberg, Andres Latorre and Adam Osieka are confirmed.

 

More flavour among the GT3 entry comes from E2P Racing’s Aston Martin AMR GT3 EVO and driving trio Oliver Campos, Antonio Sainero and Pablo Burguera, plus the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO of ARC Bratislava which will be piloted by brothers Matej and Adam Konopka, and father Miroslav.

Mugello Podium Finishers Red Camel, RPM And SebLajoux Lead 992 Entry

In the 992 class, for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992 I) cars, last year’s Mugello class winners Red Camel-Jordans.nl have named the regular quartet of Ivo Breukers, his sons Rik and Luc Breukers, and Fabian Danz. RPM Racing, second in 992 last season and 992-AM class winners, will field Niclas Jönsson, Tracy Krohn and Philip Hamprecht.

 

SebLajoux Racing, third overall in 992 in the corresponding race in 2025, enters two Porsches with its No.888 to be raced by the eponymous Sebastien Lajoux, Louis Perrot, Stephane Perrin and Anthony Vince. The squad’s No.910 features Lionel Amrouche, Rhys Lloyd and Yannick Mettler. Mühlner Motorsport bring its No.921 Porsche with Martin Rump and Conrad Tox Leveau so-far named.

 

HRT Performance has three cars on the entry list with its No.928 to be raced by Steven Gambrell, Jonathan Kearney and Igor Sorokin, while the No.930 car’s line-up is yet to be confirmed. The team also runs the QMMF by HRT Performance Porsche which is to be piloted by Ahmed Al-Emadi, Jassim Al-Thani and Faesal Al Yafei.

 

Italian team The Driving Experiences has confirmed the trio of Valerio Presezzi, Francesco Fenici and Ivan Jacoma, while Chazel Technologie Course fields Jean-Paul Dominici, Jean-Mathieu Leandri and Antoni de Barn. 

 

GTX regulars Vortex V8 have entered its No.701 Vortex 2.0 for Philippe Bonnel and team owners Arnaud and Olivier Gomez. Class competition will come from Italian squads Dinamic Motorsport and PB Racing – the former enters a Maserati MC20 GT2 for Mauro Calamia, and Amedeo and Roberto Pampanini, while PB Racing has so far confirmed Stefano d’Aste for its Lotus Exige V6 Cup R.

 

Another homegrown entry from Italy, Not Only Motorsport, will battle in TCE-TCX with a Ligier JS2 R raced by Filippo Tornaghi, Gino Rocchio and Alberto Antonucci. Class stalwarts asBest Racing field the trusty SEAT Leon Cup Racer with Pia Ohlsson so far confirmed in the driver line-up.

Circuit action in Mugello will begin on Wednesday, 18 March, and continue on Thursday, 19 March, with a brace of CR Track Days. Additional free practice and qualifying will take place on Friday, 20 March, ahead of the first part of the Michelin 12H MUGELLO – the opening five and a half hours – on Saturday, 21 March. The concluding part of the race will follow on Sunday, 22 March.

Alongside the headline Michelin 12H MUGELLO, there will be plenty of top supporting action from the Creventic organised Prototype Cup Europe in addition to Radical Cup Europe, organised in partnership with Creventic, and TCR Europe.
