Perennial Hankook 24H DUBAI runner MRS GT-Racing is currently seeking drivers for its entry at the Dubai Autodrome on 13-14-15 January 2022, as well as the first-ever Hankook 24H SEBRING on 18-19-20 November.
Repeat 24H SERIES class winner MRS GT-Racing is currently looking for drivers to join its line-up for the Hankook 24H SEBRING on 18-19-20 November and next year’s Hankook 24H DUBAI on 13-14-15 January.
The German outfit has already competed twice in the 24H SERIES, picking up a 991-class podium finish at the season opener in Dubai with Timothy Pappas, Saif Alameri, Jukka Honkavuori and three-time overall event winner Jeroen Bleekemolen before switching to the brand-new 992-gen Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for the Hankook 12H HOCKENHEIMRING. Alameri, Nikolai Gadetskii and Thierry Vermeulen went on to secure 5th in-class.
The team will also compete at the upcoming Hankook 24H BARCELONA with Alameri, Audrius Butkevicius, Nicola Michelon, and Nikolai Gadetskii. In 2019, MRS GT-Racing secured 4th in-class, following podium finishes in Dubai, Mugello and Portimao, en-route to the runners-up spot in the 24H SERIES Continents 991-class standings.
MRS GT-Racing has also confirmed the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup for the first-ever Hankook 24H SEBRING, which is set to be the longest international endurance event ever held at the Sebring International Raceway.
The German squad is also set to compete at next year’s Hankook 24H DUBAI, an event at which it has enjoyed increased success. ‘MRS GT-Racing’ has competed at each of CREVENTIC’s 24-hour events at the Dubai Autodrome since 2012, took its first event podium in 2018 in SPX and 991-AM (replicating the achievement one year later), and has also taken class wins in both GT4 (2019) and 991 (2020). MRS GT-Racing is also a former class winner of the Hankook 12H MUGELLO with 2018 Overall GT Drivers’ champions Charles Putman, Charles Espenlaub, and Joe Foster.
