Ternat, Belgium — [30th June 2026] — HAAS RT is proud to announce a significant new chapter in its GT3 program as the Belgian racing team transitions from its trusted Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II to the new BMW M4 GT3 EVO. The team’s first competitive outing with the BMW platform will take place at the Michelin 12H Nürburgring, held from 3–5 July
2026.

The move marks an important evolution for HAAS RT, building on the experience, professionalism and endurance-racing discipline developed with Audi machinery while opening the door to a new technical partnership and fresh performance opportunities
with BMW M Motorsport’s latest GT3 challenger. Known for its demanding character and world-class competition, the Nürburgring provides a fitting stage for the team’s debut with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO. The Michelin 12H Nürburgring will be contested as a split race across Saturday and Sunday, bringing together a diverse international field of GT3, GT4 and touring car entries.

“This is an exciting and ambitious step for HAAS RT,” said Kris, Team Manager at HAAS RT. “The Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II has been a reliable and respected part of our journey, and we are grateful for everything we achieved with that platform. At the same time, the BMW M4 GT3 EVO represents the future direction of our program. Its focus on drivability, efficiency and reliability makes it a strong fit for endurance racing, and the Nürburgring is the perfect place to begin this new chapter.”

“This move to BMW is a very exciting moment for everyone at HAAS RT,” said Sandrine Haas, Team Owner of HAAS RT. “It reflects our ambition to keep growing as a team, to challenge ourselves at the highest level and to build the next phase of our endurance
racing project with a manufacturer and car that share our competitive mindset. We are proud of what we have achieved so far, and we are even more motivated by what lies
ahead.”

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO, introduced for competition from the 2025 season, features a series of developments designed to improve consistency and usability for customer racing teams. Key updates include optimized aerodynamics, improved chassis
components, reduced tire and brake wear, updated lighting elements and a lighter body coating process. Powered by BMW’s P58 inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, the car is designed to deliver competitive performance over both
sprint and endurance formats.

For HAAS RT, the transition is not simply a change of manufacturer; it is a strategic move intended to strengthen the team’s long-term competitiveness, technical development and presence in international endurance racing. The team will use the Nürburgring event as a key benchmark as it continues to learn, refine and extract the full potential of its new BMW package.

“Switching to a new GT3 car is always a major undertaking for the entire organization,” added Kris, Team Manager at HAAS RT. “Our engineers, mechanics, drivers and partners are fully committed to making this transition a success. We enter the 12H Nürburgring with respect for the challenge ahead, but also with confidence, motivation and a clear desire to compete at a high level.”

The Michelin 12H Nürburgring will take place from 3–5 July 2026, with free practice and qualifying scheduled on Friday, followed by two six-hour race segments on Saturday and Sunday. HAAS RT will announce further details regarding its driver line-up and program in due course.
