AIM Scrutineering, a new division of SPEEDCOM Communications, will take over all datalogging and scrutineering duties in the 24H SERIES powered by Hankook as part of a new partnership with CREVENTIC.
From 2021 on, SPEEDCOM Communications will oversee all wireless radio and garage-to-car interface needs for teams competing at 24H SERIES race weekends. The new role means the world leader in motorsport communication systems will now also be responsible for data acquisition, including setup and on-site servicing, allowing teams to monitor changes in temperature, pressure and vehicular dynamics throughout the 12 and/or 24-hour events
SPEEDCOM.AIM’s new role will be effective as of the Hankook 24H DUBAI on 14-15-16 January, and will continue throughout the 2021 24H SERIES season. This also draws to a close CREVENTIC’s near-decade-long working relationship with Memotec.
Gerrie Willems, CREVENTIC technical coordinator: “SPEEDCOM Communications has been a valued partner of CREVENTIC for just over a decade with radio communication. As its business has extended with AIM Scrutineering, this provided a great opportunity for both companies to further develop their working relationship.
“With AIM Scrutineering we fully trust our teams can continue to rely on an excellent service, for buying, renting and troubleshooting of the required AIM-datalogger, both at the track and during the build-up to a 24H SERIES event.
“For a long period of time, CREVENTIC has enjoyed a successful partnership with MEMOTEC, and we would like to thank MEMOTEC and its staff for their professionalism and hard work with the 24H SERIES.
Teams will be contacted by SPEEDCOM-AIM Scrutineering directly with regards buying and/or rental of AIM dataloggers, as well as any other enquiries, ahead of January’s Hankook 24H DUBAI.
