Transport information Middle East Trophy now available

GENNEP (27 July, 2023) – Five months ahead of its Middle Eastern season, preparations by CREVENTIC, together with transportation partner Share Logistics, are already well underway for the Dutch promoter’s overseas endurance events in December and January.

As in 2022/2023, CREVENTIC is set to hold a three-round, Middle East Trophy – the centrepiece of which will be the 19th annual Hankook 24H DUBAI at the Dubai Autodrome on 12-13-14 January – in the GCC. As part of its established partnership, and building on more than a decade of experience, Share Logistics and CREVENTIC will oversee transportation of each team’s car(s), equipment and container, door-to-door, from port to circuit for each event.

Casper de Kort, CREVENTIC sporting coordinator:“After a successful collaboration in 2022/2023, we’re very pleased to be working once again with Share Logistics for this winter’s Middle East Trophy. Overseas logistics and transport is a service CREVENTIC has taken great pride in refining over the years, for the ease and convenience of our customer teams, and we’re very confident that Share Logistics’ experience and commitment to this practice will prove crucial to another successful program of racing in the Middle East. Booking options are now open, and we are here to answer all enquiries from our valued competitors.”

Martijn van der Velden & Eric Siebers, Share Logisitcs events specialists:“As a proud partner in 2022/2023, we’re very excited to extend our partnership with CREVENTIC and their teams. Share Logistics consists of seasoned professionals with extensive experience in event logistics. From the planning stages to execution, we will be by the teams’ side, ensuring smooth operations throughout. With CREVENTIC as a partner in 2023/2024, we aim for another series of successful events together.”

Shipping for overseas CREVENTIC events is traditionally managed through Rotterdam port, though alternate routes via London Gateway or Barcelona can also be requested (return and loading dates may vary).

Teams can opt for one of three different packages. For ‘Terminal delivery,’ competitors can arrange transport of their own containers to the port with CREVENTIC taking over logistics from there. For ‘Warehouse Loading,’ the Dutch promoter will arrange a warehouse close to the port in Rotterdam so teams can load and unload without the hassle of arranging their own container. Alternatively, CREVENTIC can arrange for a container to be driven to a team’s facility, whereupon it can be docked at a warehouse or positioned using a side loader.

For shipping, teams only need to place an order for shipping with CREVENTIC and transport documents, including a packing list, power of attorney, a chamber of commerce certificate, and a passport copy. CREVENTIC and Share Logistics will assist in these documents, and will represent your team at customs thereafter.

For shipping itself, teams only need to provide a shipping order form and transport documents, including a packing list. CREVENTIC will represent your team at customs thereafter.

Insurance for each container can also be supplied by CREVENTIC.

Transportation costs for a shared container (whereby two teams each receive 50 per cent of the internal space of one 40-foot container) are included as part of the race entry fee for the Hankook 24H DUBAI. This remains the same if teams make use of CREVENTIC’s ‘Combi-Event’ package, and bookend their Dubai weekend with another Middle East round organized in 2023/2024 by the Dutch promoter. Exclusive use of a full 40-foot container is available for an additional cost.

Further details, including loading and estimated return timeframes and a cost breakdown, for Middle East Trophy transportation can be found with the transport flyer HERE and/or CREVENTIC’s transport, tyres and entry fee checklist.

As was the case for Kuwait and Dubai last year, air freight is also an option for CREVENTIC’s Middle Eastern events, details and price quotes for which can be requested directly via [email protected] and/or +31 485 471 166.
