razoon-more than racing is set to make its first start in the 24H SERIES since January’s Hankook 24H DUBAI at next month’s Hankook 12H KUWAIT.

The Austrian team, a regular competitor on the ADAC GT4 Germany stages, made its 24H SERIES debut at this year’s season-opener at the Dubai Autodrome. As they did in Dubai, Daniel Drexel and team owner (and former professional alpine skier) Dominik Olbert will compete together again in Kuwait.

Having also confirmed its KTM X-BOW once again, this means nine different manufacturers – Porsche, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG, Aston Martin, BMW, Vortex, Audi, CUPRA and KTM – will be represented on the grid at Kuwait Motor Town.

Olbert and Drexel lined up for their first-ever 24-hour race in January alongside Austrian compatriots Andreas Höfler, Robert Schiftner and 2021 World Rally Championship debutant Kevin Raith. The entry also marked the first time since 2019 that a KTM X-BOW had been entered for the Hankook 24H DUBAI.

Having qualified a strong 3rd in-class, razoon-more than racing was keeping class leader PK Carsport and Leipert Motorsport’s Lamborghini Hurácan Super Trofeo honest before a collision with FACH AUTO TECH’s Porsche 991 GT3 Cup at turn one dropped the #714 X-BOW back into the pack. Sadly, while still in contention for the final GTX podium spot, the series debutant later collided with the second DINAMIC Motorsport Porsche 991 GT3 Rs, bringing its race to a premature close shortly before half-distance.

Bookending the season with its second 24H SERIES entry next month, razoon-more than racing will once again face Vortex V8 and newly-crowned GTX Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion Leipert Motorsport.
