On the approach to the seventh hour of racing, heavy rain deluged the 5.39km Dubai Autodrome, with standing water quickly becoming a severe concern for drivers as grip rapidly disappeared.
 
Series promoter CREVENTIC and race control at the Dubai Autodrome have thus made the decision to temporarily suspend the Hankook 24H DUBAI until conditions improve. All cars in the GT and TCE division will be parked on the start-finish straight under Parc fermé conditions.
 
Updates regarding the restart will be revealed in due cause.
