Gennep, Netherlands (28 November 2025):
Almost 60 cars are on the provisional entry list for January’s Michelin 6H ABU DHABI, the second round of the 2025/2026 Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy, with 30 cars – covering seven marques – expected in the headline GT3 category alone.

Taking place at Yas Marina Circuit on 9/10 January, the visit to Abu Dhabi will mark the sixth edition of the six-hour race with Belgium’s Team WRT ready to try and repeat its previous success under the floodlights with a BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

Porsche will be the most heavily represented brand in Abu Dhabi with no fewer than 10 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars expected on the GT3 grid. German squad Herberth Motorsport is set to field three of the Bavarian marque’s cars, with compatriot team Car Collection Motorsport – twice winners in Abu Dhabi – listed as entering a pair of Porsches, one under the Origine x Car Collection banner.

Italian squads Dinamic GT and Fulgenzi Raxcing, German outfit Huber Motorsport, Austrian team Razoon – More Than Racing and New Zealand’s EBM will also field Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) entries at Yas Marina. EBM will also run a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, one of seven expected.

German-American squad Winward Racing, reigning Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy Team Champions in GT3 and GT3 PRO-AM, will field two Mercedes-AMGs with Swiss team HOFOR Racing, the GT3-AM Champions, also on the grid with one car. Ajith RedAnt Racing, running as an Indian entry, will compete with Mercedes as will TFT Racing, from France, and Germany’s Team Motopark.

Four Ferrari 296 GT3 entries have been lodged, with UAE team Dragon Racing fielding two cars – one racing under the familiar Into Africa Racing by Dragon moniker – and the two other Ferraris to be run by Czech category regulars Scuderia Praha and Japan’s MAEZAWA Racing respectively. The latter will be making a very welcome Michelin 24H SERIES debut.

Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II entries are also four-strong, with Belgium’s HAAS RT taking two cars to Abu Dhabi and the UAE-based Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport and French squad Sainteloc Junior Team entering one Audi apiece.

Britain’s Optimum Motorsport, third place finisher in the previous Michelin 6H ABU DHABI, will challenge with a McLaren 720S GT3 EVO. There are also three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars expected on the grid, with Slovakia’s ARC Bratislava entering two examples and UAE entrant Spora GT fielding one.

Excellent 992 class entry of 17 cars expected at Yas Marina

Belgium’s Mühlner Motorsport, winners of last season’s Yas Marina six-hour, lead the 992 class entries for Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars, along with reigning Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy 992 and 992 AM class title winners, the Qatari entered QMMF by HRT Performance.

Incredibly, Germany’s HRT Performance is also listed on the provisional entry with a further five Porsches in the 992 class while EBM, which is of course competing in GT3 with two cars, is also set to mount a bid for success in 992 as well.

Dutch regulars Red Camel-Jordans.nl, former 992 class champions, will field their trusty Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) with France’s SebLajoux Racing entering two cars. Razoon – More Than Racing, another team splitting its operations between 992 and GT3, will field one car in the former.

Austrian squad Baron Motorsport, which finished second overall in GT3 at Abu Dhabi in 2024 and won the race outright in 2022, will challenge in 992 along with Emirati team RABDAN by FULGENZI, French outfits Chazel Technologie Course and Crubilé Sport, plus Germany’s Neuhofer Rennsport.

Intriguing battles expected in GTX, GT4 and TCE-TCX

Extra flavour is guaranteed across the other three main classes, GTX, GT4 and TCE-TCX, with a range of different marques set to provide some unpredictable and intriguing action – delivering 12 more cars to the entry list.

Starting with GTX, the class for cars in the middle ground between GT3 and GT4, Polish squad GT 3 Poland will field a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 with French squads Vortex V8 and Team CMR fielding a Vortex 2.0 and Ginetta G56 GT2 respectively.

British marque Ginetta will also be represented in GT4, UK squad CWS Engineering entering a Ginetta G56 GT4. Germany’s Cerny Motorsport will field a BMW M4 GT4 EVO (G82) and Swedish squad Primus Racing is set to race an Audi R8 LMS GT4 EVO. Two Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2 cars will be on the grid, one from France’s Circuit Toys and another from Continental Racing.

Reigning Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy Champions in TCE-TCX, asBest Racing, are set to field three cars in the class with the German team running a SEAT Leon Cup Racer, Cupra TCR DSG and Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR DSG. Challenging that trio of entries will be Chazel Technologie Course with the French squad fielding an Alpine A110 Cup.

Following a CR Track Day at Yas Marina Circuit on Thursday, 8 January, another Track Day session will follow on the morning of Friday, 9 January, ahead of qualifying. There, the GTX, GT4 and TCE-TCX classes will run together in three designated sessions which begin at 16.30 local time, while the 992 and GT3 classes will have three separate sessions each during the early evening.

On Saturday, 10 January, the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI will get underway at 15.00 local time and will finish under the famous Yas Marina floodlights at 21.00. Live coverage will be online at Creventic Motorsports TV. Links to the live stream and live timing will be available at www.24hseries.com
