Nurburging Grand Prix Circuit in Germany will make its first ever appearance on the Michelin 24H SERIES European Series calendar next year, as part of an excellent five-date schedule for the 2026 season, it is confirmed today.

On the eve of the decisive final round of the 2025 season, here at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Creventic is delighted to reveal the new European calendar to provide teams and drivers with the largest window possible in which to plan for next year.

The addition of the Nurburgring to the Michelin 24H SERIES is expected to be extremely popular across the board, and marks the only change to the championship’s schedule in comparison to the current season. It will see the category return to Germany for the first time since 2022.

Formerly the home of the German Formula One Grand Prix, the famous track will take the fourth date in early July where the new Michelin 12H NURBURGRING will run as a split race – contested in two instalments during the event which runs from Friday, 3 July, to Sunday, 5 July.

As this year, the 2026 Michelin 24H SERIES European Series will commence at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello in Italy over the weekend 20/21/22 March with the Michelin 12H MUGELLO also running as a split race.

Adored by the Italian fans, and loved just as much by drivers, Mugello is renowned throughout motorsport with one of the most picturesque backdrops – the circuit nestled among the Tuscan Hills north of Florence.

On 17/18/19 April the championship will visit one of the most popular venues in global motor racing, Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium, where round two of the season will undoubtedly attract a huge grid for the visit to the Ardennes.

Famed as the venue for the Belgian F1 Grand Prix, Spa is a challenge like no other and features some of the most spectacular and iconic sections of track in the world – the likes of Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Blanchimont and Pouhon.

The halfway point of the campaign comes next, the Michelin 12H PAUL RICARD on 5/6/7 June at Circuit Paul Ricard near Marseille in southern France. Always providing one of the best and most action-packed races of the season, it’s guaranteed to be a summer sizzler.

Like the trips to Mugello, Spa and the fourth round at the Nurburgring, the Paul Ricard race will be another split contest. After proving so popular on its return to the 24H SERIES European Series after several years away last season, this will be yet another major highlight.

Last, but certainly not least, the calendar will conclude with the traditional end-of-season visit to Spain for the Michelin 24H BARCELONA. The twice-round-the-clock race has become synonymous with the championship finale and will take place in 2026 over the weekend 18/19/20 September.

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya has hosted the last round of the European campaign successively since 2022 but has been part of the Creventic championship since its inauguration back in 2015, when the category achieved official FIA International Series status.

Helen Roukens, General Manager at Creventic:
“We are very pleased to once again present an exciting calendar for 2026. It’s always special to return to our traditional circuits that feel like home to the Michelin 24H SERIES, but like every year we are also delighted to surprise our teams with the addition of a completely new circuit to the championship. The first reactions from the paddock have been very positive, and it’s fantastic to see so much enthusiasm from the teams. We are confident that this combination of familiar favourites and fresh challenges will deliver another unforgettable season, both on and off the track.”
