Michelin 24H DUBAI Set For Immense 68 Car Middle East Trophy Finale Grid

Hot on the heels of confirming more than 60 entries for January’s Michelin 6H ABU DHABI, event organiser Creventic can now reveal an even bigger grid of 68 cars for next month’s final round of the 2025/2026 Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy – the Michelin 24H DUBAI.

 

Always an absolute highlight of the endurance racing year, the annual visit to Dubai Autodrome is once again attracting an entry of quality and quantity with a barnstorming conclusion expected to the Middle East Trophy across the weekend 16/17/18 January. 

 

Last season’s overall race winners in Dubai, Team WRT, are entered in the headline GT3 class with a pair of BMW M4 GT3 EVO entries. Anthony McIntosh, Ben Tuck, Jordan Pepper, Kelvin van der Linde and Fran Rueda will share the No. 669 car, while Stanislav Minsky, Mathieu Detry, Thomas Kiefer, Julian Hanses and Christopher Haase are named for the No. 27 car.

 

Another BMW is listed from Paradine Competition with Darren Leung, who won GT3-AM with the squad in Dubai last January and also doubled-up his racing there to win outright as well with the WRT team, confirmed in the No.991 car thus far.

 

Origine powered by CC, winners of the opening round of this season’s Middle East Trophy earlier this month, the Michelin 12H MALAYSIA, have Bob Yuan, Leo Ye and Deng Yi confirmed for Dubai in its No.87 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). 

 

Fellow Porsche squad Dinamic GT has entered Reinhold Krahn, Eshan Pieris, Rafael Duran, Philipp Sager and Angus Whiteside, while Pure Rxcing’s Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) will feature Michelle Gatting, Alexey Nesov, Aliaksandr Malykhin and Max Hofer. 

Lionspeed GP will make its first appearance of this season’s Middle East Trophy with drivers to be announced, and the same is true for the Tsunami RT squad which has listed Johannes Zelger, Fabio Babini, Daniel Gaunt and Alex Fontana.

 

EBM has Adrian D’Silva, Enzo Trulli, Dorian Boccolacci and Alessandro Ghiretti confirmed for its Porsche, with Fulgenzi Racing’s car to be raced by Alessandro Giannone, Andrea Girondi and Enrico Fernando Fulgenzi. Razoon – More Than Racing presently has Simon Birch and Jop Rappange named in its line-up.

 

Two Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) cars have been entered by Herberth Motorsport, with Antares Au and last season’s GT3 Drivers’ Champion Loek Hartog confirmed for the No.10 car along with Ralf Bohn, Antares Au Loek Hartog and Joel Sturm. Vincent Kolb, Max Moritz, Sven Müller and Florian Spengler are named for the squad’s No.269 entry.

 

Reigning champions of GT3 and GT3 PRO-AM in the Middle East Trophy, Winward Racing, head the Mercedes-AMG entries with Sergey Stolyarov, Daan Arrow, Maro Engel and Luca Stolz partnering in the No.16 car, while Rinat Salikhov, Gabriele Piana, Marvin Dienst and Matteo Cairoli share No.81.

 

Four-time IndyCar Champion and triple Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti MBE forms part of Team Parker Racing’s Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO line-up and partners father and son Shaun and Max Lynn, as well as former World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff.

 

TFT Racing will challenge with the quartet of Patrick Charlaix, Jordan Boisson, Benjamin Paque and Marvin Klein in its Mercedes-AMG, while Team Motopark’s driver line up is still to be confirmed.

The EBM team will also field a Mercedes, alongside its aforementioned Porsche entry, with Setiawan Santoso, Zhou Bihuang, Kerong Li and Tanart Sathienthirakul confirmed. Grove Racing by Getspeed has entered its Mercedes with the line-up of father and son Stephen and Brenton Grove, Kai Allen, Christopher Lulham and former 24 Hours of Spa and Bathurst 12 Hours winner Jules Gounon.

 

Tamil actor Ajith Kumar partners Kobe de Breucker and brothers Yannick and Ayrton Redant in the Ajith RedAnt Racing entry, while HOFOR Racing’s Mercedes will be shared by husband and wife Alexander and Chantal Prinz, Torsten Kratz, Maximilian Partl and Manuel Metzger. SVC Sport Management enters siblings Roberto and Amedeo Pampanini, Mauro Calamia and Jean-Luc D’auria.

 

Optimum Motorsport will field two McLaren 720S GT3 EVO entries, with Andrew Gilbert, Michael Porter, Tom Fleming and Benjamin Goethe sharing one, while Harry George, Patrick Liddy and Tanner Harvey team-up in the sister car.

 

Two Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II cars will be run by HAAS RT with father and son Peter and Nicolas Guelinckx in the No.21 car and Damian Ciosek, Alexander Bukhantsov, Alim Geshev, George King and James Winslow in the squad’s second entry. 

 

Sainteloc Junior Team is also set to field a pair of Audis, with Michael Doppelmayr, Elia Erhart, Pierre Kaffer, Swen Herberger and Stephane Tribaudini teaming-up in the first, while the line-up for car two is yet-to-be-confirmed. Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport, meanwhile, will challenge with its Audi R8 piloted by Vasily Vladykin, Andrey Solukovtsev, Mikhail Simonov and Alex Arkin Aka.

 

Ferrari 296 GT3 squad Scuderia Praha will compete with familiar quartet Josef Král, Dennis Waszek and father and son Miroslav and Matúš Výboh with local UAE team Dragon Racing entering no fewer than three Ferraris. 

 

Axcil Jefferies, Dustin Blattner, Dennis Marschall and Al Faisal Al Zubair – the latter part of last season’s Team WRT race-winning entry – will share the No. 777 car under the Al Manar by Dragon Racing banner. Giacomo Altoe, Oscar Ryndziewicz, Khaled Al Marzouq and Ramez Azzam will compete in Dragon’s No. 88 car, while the Into Africa Racing by Dragon entry will feature Xollie Letlaka, Stuart White, Arnold Neveling, and Jim and Glynn Geddie.

Top quality entry for very healthy 992 class Dubai grid

Four Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars are entered by HRT Performance in the Porsche exclusive 992 class for the Michelin 24H DUBAI. The No.928 car features Michael Blanchemain, Jérôme Da Costa, Stéphane Adler and Ryan Naicker, while the No.929 will be piloted by Gregg Gorski, Silvain Pastoris, Giovanni Nucera and Steven Gambrell.

 

Drivers Alex Renner, Grigorii Burlutskii, Nick Halstead and Dmitriy Shishko are confirmed for the No. 931 Porsche, which will compete under the ARMotors by HRT Performance entry, while the fourth entry, running under the X Motorsport by HRT Performance banner, will be raced by Sergey and Victor Titarenko, Igor Sorokin and Ilya Gorin.

 

Winners of 992 in Malaysia during round one, Red Camel-Jordans.nl, will be represented by Fabian Danz, brothers Luc and Rik Breukers and their father Ivo. Fellow consistent front-runners Mühlner Motorsport have named Paul Meijer, Jiatong Liang and Jurriaan de Back in their attack. 

 

Two cars have been entered by SebLajoux Racing, its No.910 car to be raced by Solenn Amrouche, Enzo Joulié and Sebastien Lajoux while the squad’s No.888 Porsche will be shared by Stephane Perrin, Anthony Vince, Alexandr Artemyev and Louis Perrot. 

 

Razoon – More Than Racing, which also competes in GT3, will battle in the 992 class with Colin Bönighausen, Daniel Drexel and Artur Chwist. Likewise, fellow GT3 entrant Red Ant Racing will also enter a Porsche in 992 for Simon Balcaen, Mathieu Castelein, Pierre Castelein and Steven Palette.

 

Second placed 992 finishers in Dubai last season, Tierra Outdoor Racing by FACH, mount a bid to go one better with the line-up of Ralph Poppelaars, Huub van Eijhndhoven, Robert de Haan and Wouter Boerekamps. Crubilé Sport’s car features Pascal Duhamel, Sebastién Crubilé and Anthony Plessis, while Team GP-Elite enters Jani Käkelä, Henri Tuomaala, Thomas Kangro and Jukka Honkavuori.

 

RABDAN by FULGENZI’s Porsche will be piloted by Saif Alameri, Christopher Zöchling and Salem Alketbi, Modena Motorsports has confirmed Francis Tjia, John Shen, Christian Chia, Benny Simonsen and Philippe Descombes and Neuhofer Rennsport’s line-up will be father and son Felix and Markus Neuhofer, Martin Ragginger, Helmut Roedig and Sebastian Schmitt. 

Great entertainment and action expected across GTX, GT4 and TCE-TCX

Title challengers Vortex V8 will be present in GTX with the No.701 Vortex 2.0 piloted by Lionel Amrouche and Philippe Bonnel. The Rossa LM GT makes a very welcome return to action in the Michelin 24H SERIES with Rossa Racing’s Roman Rusinov, Evgeny Kireev, Ismail Akhmadekhodjaev and Amna Al Qubaisi, daughter of three-time 24H DUBAI winner Khaled Al Qubaisi. 

 

Three Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 entries are confirmed in GTX with GT 3 Poland running Pawel Kowalski, Seweryn Mazur and Konstantins Calko along with father and son Andrzej and Adrian Lewandowski. Leipert Motorsport, meanwhile, will field Gerhard Watzinger, Don Yount, Fred Roberts, Månz Thalin and Brendon Leitch.

 

Rodrigue Gillion, Eric Mouez and Hugo Mogica are confirmed for Team CMR’s Lamborghini, and the squad also enters a Ginetta G56 GT2 in GTX for Nico Prost, Freddie Tomlinson, the latter’s father Lawrence – Chairman of Ginetta Cars – and Mike Simpson.

 

The GT4 class will feature four marques. Cerny Motorsport, winners of the Michelin 12H MALAYSIA, head the entry with the team’s BMW M4 GT4 (G82) which will be raced by Ivan Krapivtsev and Farin Megger with team-mates to-be-confirmed. Circuit Toys will challenge with its Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, and Will Powell and Rhys Lloyd are the first drivers to be named. 

 

CWS Engineering enters a Ginetta G56 GT4 for team principal Colin White and team-mates Mark Griffith and Neale Muston. Additionally, two Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 cars are on the entry list, with one from Team Sorg Rennsport and another from Razoon – More Than Racing. Benito Tagle and Nick von Essen are named for the Team Sorg Rennsport entry, while Ivan Stanchin and Dominik Olbert will represent Razoon – More Than Racing.

Seven cars are set to comprise the TCE-TCX class with asBest Racing fielding four of them. The team’s SEAT Leon Cup Racer will be shared by Thomas Alpiger, Michael Neuhauser, Ahmed Al Khaja and Fahad Nasir Khan, while the Cupra TCR DSG – which took class victory in Malaysia – will feature Pia Ohlsson, Lutz Obermann, Junichi Umemoto and another yet-to-be-named driver. 

 

The squad will also field a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS (982) for Marco Grillil, Rawad Sarieddine, Dylan Pragji, Desirée Muller and Zaamin Jaffer, and asBest’s Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR DSG will be piloted by Nadir Zuhour, Karim Zuhour, Mohammed Al Owais, Ahmed Al Melaihi and Rafal Gieras. 

 

There are two Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO ‘B-Spec’ entries in TCE-TCX, the TGRR squad will run Rio Shimono, Miki Onaga, Aimi Saito, Kokoro Sato and Rami Sasaki while the KCMG car will be shared by Paul Ip, Marchy Lee, Ho-Pin Tung and Andy Yan. Team Sorg Rennsport has named Ivan Ekelchick and Azat Kalimullin for its Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS (982).

 

Dubai Autodrome’s circuit action will begin with two CR Track Day sessions on Wednesday, 14 January, ahead of the annual Parade of race cars through the streets of Motor City. Two further CR Track Day sessions will run on Thursday, 15 January. 

 

Friday, 16 January, is qualification day with three sessions for the GT3 cars beginning at 13.45 local time, three further sessions for the 992 cars follow those and then another three sessions which will feature the GTX, GT4 and TCE-TCX cars on track at the same time. After regulation qualifying, the new Top 10 Shoot-Out for GT3 cars will begin at 17.20 with a night practice for all at 19.00.

 

On Saturday, 17 January, the Michelin 24H DUBAI will start at 13.00 local time and is scheduled to run uninterrupted until 13.00 on Sunday, 18 January.
