GENNEP (27 September, 2024) – Entries for the fifth annual Michelin 6H ABU DHABI continue to roll in, with more than 50 cars already signed up for the six-hour event on 17-18-19 January.
First held at the famed Yas Marina Circuit in 2021, the 2025 Michelin 6H ABU DHABI has received 52 entries thus far, and already boasts a grid of reigning and former champions in the 24H SERIES. As in 2022 and 2023, the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI will close out the 2024/2025 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy in January, adding further incentive for teams to compete with CREVENTIC during the European off-season.
Peter Freij, CREVENTIC operational manager: “CREVENTIC will host the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI for a fifth time in January 2025, and every year since 2021, the event has continued to get bigger and better. We feel, with this six-hour endurance race, that we have struck a chord with competitors not just in Europe but all over the world, and we hope our annual event at the Yas Marina Circuit will continue to grow.”
Teams interested in registering an entry for the 2025 Michelin 6H ABU DHABI can speak with CREVENTIC via [email protected] and/or directly on +31 485 471166.
Ferrari’s GT3 flagship will receive strong representation on the Abu Dhabi grid, with five examples already registered.
The UAE’s Dragon Racing is set to make its second start at the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI in 2025. The Dubai-based team, which entered the 2024 edition as ‘GPM by Dragon Racing,’ has contested the 24H DUBAI for all but two years since 2013 and is a five-time class winner of the event. Performances it will no doubt hope to replicate at Yas Marina with its Ferrari 296 GT3 (#8) and Porsche 991.2 GT3 R.
racing one has registered an all-Ferrari 296 line-up for Abu Dhabi (#2 and #6). The German team made its 24H SERIES debut at the 12H MUGELLO in 2021, and most recently contested the 24H DUBAI earlier this year.
2019 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion Scuderia Praha (#47) is preparing for its first 24H SERIES event since the 12H HOCKENHEIMRING in 2021. This would also mark the Czech team’s first race in the Middle East with CREVENTIC since finishing 3rd overall at the 24H DUBAI in 2019.
Era Motorsport (#81) rounds out the Prancing Horse representation thus far. The American team, which will make its 24H SERIES debut at the Yas Marina Circuit, has also registered a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#981) for the 992 class.

Like Dragon Racing and racing one, America’s Winward Racing has also entered a two-car line-up, and is gearing up for its first 24H SERIES start since the 24H PORTIMAO in 2020 with two Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVOs (#16 and #87).
In an impressive showing in only its third GT3 outing with CREVENTIC, Century Motorsport took two class wins at this year’s 24H DUBAI with its duo of BMW M4 GT3s (#14 and #22). The British team also took two class titles in the 2023/2024 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy (GT3-AM and GT4) as well as GT4 victory at this year’s 6H ABU DHABI. Success that Century Motorsport will no doubt hope to replicate in January.
Century Motorsport accounts for two of the three BMW M4 GT3s already registered for 17-18-19 January. The other has been entered by Simpsons Motorsport (#38), which, as in 2024, will run a collaborative entry with Dubai’s BMW AGMC dealership.
Walkenhorst Motorsport meanwhile is one of only two teams that will represent Aston Martin in CREVENTIC’s GT3 top tier in Abu Dhabi. The German team, back for its first 24H SERIES event in more than a decade, will run two Vantage AMR GT3 EVOs (#36 and #37), while three-time TCR Europe Touring Car Series Teams’ champion Comtoyou Racing (#40) has registered a standalone example.
ARC Bratislava rounds the multi-car entries in GT3 thus far, and has registered a two-car entry for the first time in the 24H SERIES. The Slovakian team was on the grid for the inaugural 24H DUBAI in 2006 as ‘AC Bratislava’ and has registered two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVOs for the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI, at which it took GT3-AM victory earlier this year.

Haupt Racing Team is set to make its 24H SERIES return in January, having registered at least one Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO for both events. The eponymous outfit of three-time 24H DUBAI winner Hubert Haupt is, fittingly, a former overall podium finisher and GT3-AM class victor at CREVENTIC’s blue ribband event, and even locked out the overall front row in Dubai on its most recent series outing in 2023.
Manamauri Energy by Ebimotors (#95) is similarly gearing up for its 24H SERIES return in Abu Dhabi. The Romanian-Italian collaboration finished 3rd overall at this year’s 6H ABU DHABI en-route to the overall GT3 Teams’ title, and also took the 992 Teams’ title in 2022/2023 as ‘Willi Motorsport by Ebimotors.’ The Porsche 992 GT3 R makes a long-awaited return to the 24H SERIES following its most recent outing in Dubai this year.
Two-time GT3-PRO/AM Teams’ champion Scherer Sport PHX (#15) has registered its Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II for both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The German team, which took overall victories at Spa-Francorchamps, Hockenheim and Monza during its title-winning campaigns in 2022 and 2023, secured GT3-PRO/AM class victory as ‘Phoenix Racing’ on its most recent Abu Dhabi outing in 2023.
Former GT3 Teams’ champion Haas RT (#21) recorded its first-ever motorsport podium at the 6H ABU DHABI in 2023, and the Antiguan team will be no doubt hope for a return to the top three with its Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II in January. Similarly, Optimum Motorsport (#23) set pole for the inaugural 6H ABU DHABI in 2021 in collaboration with Inception Racing, and will be looking to repeat that pace with its McLaren 720S GT3 EVO.

DINAMIC MOTORSPORT last competed with CREVENTIC at the 24H BARCELONA in 2022, took a class win at the COPPA FLORIO 12H SICILY in 2020, and even qualified in the overall top five for the 24H DUBAI on two occasions. The Italian team is set to make its series return in Abu Dhabi as ‘Dinamic GT’ with its Porsche 992 GT3 R.
GWR Australia (#96), China’s Climax Racing, and Germany’s Team Motopark (#45) round out the GT3 entrants thus far, each of which are preparing for their 24H SERIES debuts with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO apiece.
Interestingly, as it stands, none of the three previous overall winners of the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI – Car Collection Motorsport (2021 and 2024), Baron Motorsport (2022) and Pure Rxcing (2023) – have registered for the 2025 edition, meaning the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI could potentially feature a brand-new winner on 17-18-19 January.

HRT Performance took 992-AM Teams’ honours in the 2022/2023 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy, doing so, tellingly with a class win in Abu Dhabi in 2023. The German outfit is set to contest the 6H ABU DHABI for a fourth time in 2025 with two Porsche 992 GT3 Cups (#928 and #930).
Moreover, HRT continues its collaboration with the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation at Yas Marina. QMMF by HRT (#974) recently took 992-AM victory at the 24H BARCELONA, and secured 992-AM Teams’ honours in the 2023/2024 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy with victory in Abu Dhabi.
Like HRT, Mühlner Motorsport has also registered a two-car line-up (#918 and #921) for, what will be, its second race with CREVENTIC in Abu Dhabi. Similarly, MRS GT-Racing (#988), a 24H DUBAI staple since 2011, is set to contest the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI for the first time as a standalone entity (the German team ran Neuhofer Rennsport’s Porsche to 7th in-class at this year’s event).
The UAE’s RABDAN Motorsport will be firmly among the home crowd favourites at Yas Marina. The Abu Dhabi-based team has entered a ‘RABDAN by FULGENZI’ entry (#971) in collaboration with Italy’s Fulgenzi Racing, and will be looking to secure a hattrick of 992 podiums at home following its runners-up spot in 2022 and 3rd in-class in 2024.
Following its one-off GT3 run in Barcelona, Red Camel-Jordans.nl (#909) returns to the 992 fold in 2025, and has entered a solo Porsche 992 GT3 Cup.

Newly-crowned 24H SERIES GTX Teams’ champion Vortex V8 returns for its third shot at the 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy in 2025. The French independent was the GTX standings runner-up in 2022/2023 and 2023/2024, despite winning the GTX class in Abu Dhabi in 2024, and has entered two examples of its new Vortex 2.0 (#701 and #702).
Razoon – More Than Racing (#714) took its second successive class win in Abu Dhabi in 2023 to secure the GTX Teams’ title in that year’s 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy. The Austrian team will surely be among the category’s frontrunners once again with its KTM X-BOW GTX.
Razoon – More Than Racing has also registered an entry for GT4 (#414).
Scott Sport (#750) made an impressive 24H SERIES debut at this year’s 6H ABU DHABI by finishing 2nd in GTX. The British team has entered its Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO for another shot at the class podium.

Simpson Motorsport (#438) came agonizingly close to securing the GT4 Teams’ title in the 2023-2024 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy, losing on countback to Century Motorsport. The British team, one of only three teams entered for the 2025 race that were also on the grid in 2021, returns for its third shot at the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI with its ‘G82’ BMW M4 GT4.
The UAE’s Continental Racing (#498) was also in the GT4 title fight earlier this year, and ultimately fell just eight points short despite taking class victory in Abu Dhabi. The Dubai-based team has registered the field’s only Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO thus far.
Continental Racing is also set to contest CREVENTIC’s GT3 category on 17-18-19 January for the first time with an Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II.
2020 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Continents’ champion Team Sorg Rennsport has entered both the TCR (#127) and GT4 (#427) classes. The German team took TCE victory at this year’s 24H BARCELONA, and is preparing for its Michelin 6H ABU DHABI debut with two examples of Porsche’s 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.
Team Sorg Rennsport has also registered a Porsche 992 GT3 Cup (#927) in 992.

Although its car has yet to be confirmed, EBM (#410) has registered for its first Michelin 6H ABU DHABI as a standalone entry, and its first to-date in the 24H SERIES’ GT4 category. The eponymous team of two-time overall 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Earl Bamber contested the 2024 edition as technical partner to Australia’s Grove Racing.
Britain’s Sport77 (#447) is gearing up for its 24H SERIES debut in Abu Dhabi with an Audi R8 LMS GT4, marking the first entry for Ingolstadt’s GT4 sports car at a CREVENTIC event since the 24H DUBAI in 2022.
Three-time 24H SERIES class champion CWS Engineering (#478) will be looking to secure its second class win in Abu Dhabi and its first in the GT4 class with its tenured Ginetta G55. The British team was the TCX victor at Yas Marina in 2024.
Series debutant CHAZEL Technologie Course rounds out the provisional entry list thus far. The French team has confirmed two Alpine A110 Cup (#110 and #193) for, what would be, the first official 24H SERIES event to feature Alpine’s flagship sports car.
