2017 Overall GT Teams’ ‘Europe’ champion Hofor-Racing has confirmed a full season entry with CREVENTIC in 2025, a program that will include entries at all European rounds, the Swiss team’s return to the Michelin 24H DUBAI, and a maiden campaign for its new Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO.

Following a three-year hiatus, the Swiss team made a much-anticipated return to the 24H SERIES in 2024. The former series’ champion has registered for all five of CREVENTIC’s European rounds once again 2025, and, for the first time, is also set to contest the 24H SERIES Middle East Trophy. This will include Hofor Racing’s debut at the Michelin 6H ABU DHABI and its first entry for the Michelin 24H DUBAI since 2019.

Hofor Racing’s 2025 program is also scheduled to be the maiden program for its brand-new Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO, with which, after an extended testing program, the Swiss team has upgraded from its tenured AMG GT3.

2017 Overall GT Drivers’ ‘Europe’ champions (and father-daughter combo) Michael Kroll and Chantal Prinz have been registered for all European and Middle East rounds thus far alongside team staple – and Chantal’s husband – Alexander Prinz.

Carsten Tilke, winner outright of the 24H DUBAI in 2009 with Land Motorsport, is also expected to join the team at least for the Dubai season opener. This would be the team and driver’s first collaboration since the 24H BARCELONA in 2023.

“Hofor Racing is really happy to participate in the full 24H SERIES season in 2025,” Alexander Prinz explains to CREVENTIC. “And for the first time, we will also take part in the Middle East championship. We can't wait to start the season directly with our first highlight: the 20th edition of [Michelin] 24H DUBAI. We are very proud to be part of it!

“The [Michelin] 24H SERIES offers the perfect setup to compete under professional conditions against high level teams and drivers from all over the world. We are highly motivated for the upcoming season to fight for the GT3-AM championship!”

After a tough start to the 2024 season, which included differential issues in Mugello, and gearbox-related retirement in Portimão, Hofor-Racing secured a GT3-AM podium in Misano before closing out the season strongly with 2nd in-class at Barcelona, 11 years on from the team’s first overall series win in 2013.

Across its four-race run at the Michelin 24H DUBAI to-date, Hofor Racing sadly retired from its two most recent outings in 2018 and 2019, ironically, having taken A6-Am class victories at the event in both 2016 and 2017! The Swiss team is also one of 34 GT3 teams currently set to compete at the 2025 Michelin 24H DUBAI, a provisional entry list that already includes former outright event winners Car Collection Motorsport and Herberth Motorsport, former GT3 Teams’ champions Manamauri Energy by Ebimotors and Haas RT, three-time 24H DUBAI winner Hubert Haupt’s eponymous team, Daytona 24 Hours mainstay Heart of Racing by SPS, and two-time Le Mans winner Earl Bamber’s ‘EBM.’

The 11th edition of the Michelin 12H MUGELLO gets CREVENTIC’s European season underway on 21-22-23 March, with 12-hour events at Spa-Francorchamps (18-19-20 April), Misano (22-23 May), and Circuit Paul Ricard (4-5 July) before the Michelin 24H BARCELONA closes the 2025 season on 26-27-28 September.
