The #46 BMW M4 GT3 with which MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi made his 24H SERIES powered by Hankook debut is now available to own as a diecast replica.
Rossi made his 24-hour racing debut at the Hankook 24H DUBAI in 2023, and, as a new works driver for BMW M Motorsport, competed aboard a BMW M4 GT3 with Sean Gelael, Max Hesse, Maxime Martin and Timothy Whale. Fittingly, the BMW ran the nine-time motorcycle world champion’s now legendary ‘46’ as its race number, propelled Rossi to his first podium.
To celebrate the accomplishment, Minichamps has now replicated the #46 BMW, in 1:18-scale, as a diecast model, complete with sponsor decals, photo-accurate livery, Hankook Tires, and 24H SERIES banners. Fans can purchase their example HERE, with prices starting from €159,95 (around $172 USD).
Team WRT’s sister #7 BMW M4 GT3 – entered as ‘MS7 by WRT,’ and driven by Jens Klingmann, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer and Diego Menchaca, and two-time event winners Dries Vanthoor and Mohammed Bon Saud Al Saud – took the team’s third overall victory at the event in 2023, and has also been replicated in diecast form by Minichamps. This is not the first time that Hankook 24H DUBAI entrants have been reproduced in diecast form by Minichamps. The #2 and #3 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3s entered by five-time outright winner Black Falcon for the 2016 were both available in 1:43 scale, as was the #30 Ram Racing Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 entered that same year. 2011 outright winner Schubert Motorsport has also featured prominently, with replicas of the German team’s 2013 and 2014 BMW MZ4 GT3s available as 1:43-scale and 1:18-scale diecasts respectively.
