Italian team GT4 racer to make debut with Calamia / Monaco / Pampanini / Pampanini Jr. on March 29-30

Treviso (Italy), March 19, 2019. Race debut of the Scuderia Villorba Corse Mercedes-AMG GT4 will take place at the 12 Hours of Mugello on March 29-30. The Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio will line up its brand new GT4 racer in the first 2019 race of the 24H Series European Championship promoted by Creventic with the Italian-Swiss crew formed by Mauro Calamia, Stefano Monaco, Roberto Pampanini and his son Amedeo Pampanini behind the wheel. Young pair Monaco-Pampanini Jr. has tested the car in Barcelona last week setting some very competitive lap times pretty soon.

Team Principal Amadio says: “This 12-hour race marks our debut in the GT4 world with Mercedes-AMG. We are delighted that this is happening at Mugello, one of the home tracks for the team, whose international commitments are increasing faster and faster. We are preparing this event in all details to be able to deeply catch the whole potential of this car, which proved to be really remarkable from the very first kilometres run”.
