Automotodrom Brno is the company operating the motor racing circuit, the Masaryk Ring. It was formed in 1994 and has its headquarters directly in the control tower of the racing track.

The Masaryk Ring’s tradition stretches back as far as 1930, when an open-air track was constructed running along the main roads on the outskirts of a growing Brno. Since 1965 the Masaryk Ring has been the traditional host of the most prestigious motorcycle championship in the world – the Road Bike Grand Prix. The current Masaryk Ring dates from the years 1985-1987 and is a top-class racing circuit meeting the strictest criteria for hosting pestigious world motorbike races.

Automotodrom Brno hosts several world championships – most importantly the World Road Bike Championship (MotoGP) and the World Superbike Championship. The Masaryk Ring is regularly written into the calendar of the International Championship of the Czech Republic for automobile circuit competitions as well as the motorbike championship. The company regularly hosts special ocassions for the public – circuit open days, in-line skating, cycling, public trackdays for cars and motorbikes and a course for safe motorbike riding at the motorbike driving school.

REFUELLING

CENTRAL FUEL STATION HANKOOK 24H EPILOG BRNO
There will be a central fuel station available at the Brno Circuit. This means that you do NOT need to bring any refuelling equipment.

Specific for the 24H EPILOG BRNO
  • Location: the refueling area at the end of the pit lane
  • Number of pumps: there will be 6 petrol pumps and 2 diesel pumps available
  • Refueling will be carried out by team mechanics (one or two)

What you need to know:
  • All vehicles must be able to refuel directly with a commercial type hose as used in usual service stations
  • You only need to make sure your fuel inlet is prepared to refuel with a standard (commercial) fuel-pump-pistol. Therefore: the refuelling orifices of the tanks must be equipped for this operation.
  • The use of adaptors or filler bottles is strictly forbidden
  • The use of extra ventilation during refueling is only allowed in conjunction with a (ATL) vent-bottle
  • During the complete refueling operation, the windows and doors on both sides (left and right) need to be closed.
  • The team need to have TWO team members available at the refueling station during each refueling operation
This is required to push the car away in case the engine will not start after the refueling operation. It is also allowed to assist the refueling operation by one or two own team member(s). IN THIS CASE THE (1 OR 2) TEAM MEMBERS MUST WEAR FLAMEPROOF OVERALLS, GLOVES AND BALACLAVAS.
  • Refueling will take place on basis, first come first refuel
Fuel service
For each entered car there will be a fixed fuel service cost applicable.
This fixed fuel service cost includes:
  • Fuel for Free Practice
  • Fuel for Qualifying
  • Fuel for Race
  • Refuelling marshal
  • 6 petrol pumps
  • 2 diesel pumps
